Osaka Tempura

"Ippoh" An acclaimed and historic tempura restaurant of Osaka

Established in 1850, Ippou is a highly-acclaimed and historic tempura restaurant in Osaka. It is well known to have heads of state from various countries grace its tempura counters, which are situated in each of its private rooms. All facets of the establishment can be enjoyed with the Matsu, Tosa-bori, and Edo-bori courses, with guests first enjoying appetizers and sashimi in the zashiki-style private rooms and then moving to the counter seating in the private rooms for the tempura. The atmosphere of the interior is one of luxury and filled with Japanese architectural beauty.
The tempura is fried perfectly by experienced chefs in fresh safflower oil. Enjoy “tempura without any oiliness” made from seasonal ingredients in a relaxing atmosphere.

The Chayamamachi branch of Ippoh located on the 2nd floor of “Hotel Hankyu International”, which received one of the highest hotel rankings in Japan by the famous American hotel guide “Hotel Guides Worldwide.” With an atmosphere distinctly different from the Honten location, Ippoh Chayamachi has a variety of seating available, such as counter seats, table seats, and private rooms, making it an ideal atmosphere and suitable for a wide variety of occasions.
