Trio presenting their innovative cuisine to the world
The newest star of Kyoto's culinary world that gourmands cannot stop talking about
Having been awarded a 1 Michelin star only a year after its establishment, Kiyama is the restaurant in Kyoto most talked about by gourmands all across the country. Its owner, Yoshiaki Kiyama is a talented young chef who earned his stripes at one of Kyoto’s most prestigious restaurant “Wakuden” and creates authentic Kaiseki cuisine which uses sparkling fresh well water.
The combination of the gentle flavor of soup stock from freshly shaved bonito together with strictly-selected seasonal ingredients results in simple yet compelling cuisine and dishes. We hope you have a chance to experience the true essence of Washoku which Chef Kiyama creates through his carefully prepared dishes and works of culinary art.
