Over 135 years old popular sukiyaki restaurant
Listed in the Michelin Guide as 1 Star and located in Shinsaibashi, Osaka, sukiyaki restaurant “Kitamura” has continued to remain a popular restaurant and treasured by many since its founding in 1881. Guests dine in a private room where a friendly kimono-clad hostess cooks their meal. Aged and tender marbled meat is grilled with Kitamura’s exclusive Kansai-style sukiyaki sauce and umami filled melt-in-your-mouth wagyu beef. In addition to sukiyaki, an array of other dishes such as mizutaki (hot pot) and butter-yaki (teppanyaki) are available. The tranquil sukiya-zukuri interior architecture makes the restaurant suitable for a wide variety of occasions and is frequented by visitors from around the world.
